Stratton Group KWIF’s benefiting ovarian cancer fighters in their time of need.
The mission of the Stratton Ovarian Cancer Foundation is to ensure those battling ovarian cancers have access to housing and travel, something often not covered by insurance, so they can receive the specialized treatment they need. Providing these increases the survival rate, allowing them to no longer have to settle for nothing but that best care, no matter the distance needed to travel.
After being diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and learning how “silent” the symptoms are, Angie Kuzma realized what a need there is for educating others about the warning signs. After learning about the increased survival rate of those who are treated by specialized gynecological oncologists, she realized what a strong need there is to have access to the right hospitals and doctors. “I am lucky enough to be surrounded by a group of people who were willing to support this cause, and they helped form the foundation we have created, the 'Stratton Ovarian Cancer Foundation'.” We love getting the community together to raise money in fun ways.
